Moments of Peace

The Word of God will always bring you peace. Jesus said "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27 NKJV) 

A lot of people spend their lives seeking all kinds of other stuff. But when it comes to righteousness, peace and joy, they don't have any because they're chasing after things.   True peace comes from being one with God. 

Romans 14:17 defines the kingdom of God as a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. 

God’s Word tells us to search for peace, and seek it eagerly (1 Peter 3:11). We are not to only desire a peaceful relationship with God, our fellow men and with ourselves; but we are to pursue and go after peaceful relationships!

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer 
and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests 
be made known to God; and the peace of God, which 
surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and 
minds through Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV)

Trusting God Is The Beginning of Peace

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)
